This little painting was a challenge. The knife in my setup was foreshortened. When I paint a foreshortened object my mind says one thing and my eyes say another. After many tries and then focusing on "seeing and not thinking" I figured it out. Wouldn't it be great if all difficult tasks could be performed without thinking!
