White Teapot and Plum

I've been searching for a white teapot for a while and I'm so happy I found one. I bought this teapot at  www.sensibiliteasonline.com/ and it couldn't have been at a better time. I've been working on painting grays and what could be a better reflector than white porcelain. I also used limited brushstrokes (not going over previous strokes) on this painting and if I needed to repaint a section I wiped it out first.

  1. Gosh, I love this one, Robin! I love the simple areas of color. You did so well with the values with so few strokes. And the bits of yellow showing through are so beautiful! ( I love tea pots, too.)

  5. Wonderful! I love the simplicity of your strokes and rich sense of color and light. Your compositions have dynamism and such a lively quality. The thumbnails lined up under this post look so right together. Also love your Apples and Glass and Orange Arrangements.
