These three strawberries were the last in the container. Almost past their prime but still paintable. I love all fresh strawberry foods, my favorite being strawberry shortcake.

Two Lemons and Cup

Working a little larger with this still life.

 I decided to use spring colors and celebrate the nice weather.

I pulled out my blue petal plate from under the stacks of plates and bowls I've collected and decided to paint it again. It's one of my favorites. The challenge was to get the its reflection to be believable and I think I got it right.

It's been almost two weeks since I last painted. I've traveled to Florida to visit my family. And as usual, my painting took a back seat. That's absolutely Okay. :) However, getting back to painting  and figuring out what it is I'm trying to say will take some time.

This is my first time painting this pink glass and I enjoyed the process. It has interesting colors and reflections, and I loved the shadow.
