It's great when you can visualize a painting even before you have the objects in front of you. It doesn't happen often but with this painting it almost did. I thought about the color combination and went out and bought the cherries. It only confirms what I hoped would happen when I started painting daily; painting often helps you become familiar with your material and it opens you up to seeing things in a different way.
I really like your style of painting. Your use of colors is wonderful! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work!
