It's good to be back painting. I know it's going to take a couple of days for me to get back into the zone but having gone through this before, I'm less concerned. This painting was inspired by an earlier painting I did where the oranges were half in shadow.
This is very beautiful, Robin. I love your strong colors and bold brushwork...composition...and especially the orange reflections in the metal, which are elegantly understated.
