Blue Bottles and Ribbons

I took this photo while my painting was still wet. I don't usually do that but the forecast is for rain the next few days. I usually take digital images of my paintings outdoors in the shade. Last winter I took pictures of my paintings indoors but I had trouble with the lighting.  Does anyone have a good method of taking pictures of their work indoors?

  1. Robin, I bought a light box kit from ebay for photographing paintings. It's a white nylon box, and came with two spotlights that I shine on the sides of the box. The nylon diffuses the light so there isn't the glare you get with a flash. I use it on cloudy days. It was only $45 on eBay.

  2. P.S. I forgot to tell you how much I like this bottle! Beautiful transparency and light.
